GARIBALDI – ISOLA DISTRICT CIVIC LIBRARY

This project aims to develop the concept of civic centre over its traditional burdens, into a more versatile cultural hub. Kids facilities, meeting rooms, polifuncional and relax areas, are some of the new elements added to the original library. It is worth noticing the project’s context, which places the buildings into a balanced dialogue between the verticality of Porta Garibaldi skyscrapers and the distensive atmosphere of ‘Biblioteca degli Alberi’ Park.
